Yeah the #52 Skippy 458 is at the top of my 'please make it!' list along with the 1994 #015 1000 runner up.
There's been a big hole for Lowndes collectors and that's 1997. The most likely car to fill the void is probably the Sandown winner but I'd like to see one of his F3000 cars made for the sake of variety (wishful thinking). The 1993 Formula Ford car would be good too (very wishful thinking). ;)

Agreed! Will be worth the wait though. B)

I believe Apex are also keen to get the Spa 24 Hour car done. Just depends on a few little things. Fingers crossed.

Wish they'd made a 1:18 :(
STILL waiting for the winning Maranello car that was due out early this year.

I don't think we've seen a winner in 1/18 since the 2013 Mercedes. :(

Very surprised that the Nismo winning car hasn't been made as it would be extremely popular.
I've got the winning Merc hand signed by all 3 drivers, so it's pride and place.

The announcement came shortly after the 2015 Nissan win that it would be out in 1/18th, but not 1/43rd. I remember seeing the posters. So far, it looks like the reverse happened, good for my collection :). But I have seen stated that the Maranello 458 from 2014 will never be done in 1/43rd.

My info comes from a friend/local dealer:

Autoart are doing the 2015 Nissan on Biante's behalf but as it's the first time a 1/18th scale model of the GT3 GTR has been done, it will take some time for them to get the tooling right. With Autoarts reputation though it will be worth the wait. According to Biante, they are hopeful of getting a prototype sample by Christmas. I believe the Craft Bamboo Aston Martins should be out by Christmas.

As far as the Ferrari goes, apparently everything from the licensing to the font on the base that the car comes on has been an issue. Should be in production now though. Hopefully they'll be in our hands by next years 12 Hour.

Unfortunately these issues are out of our local manufacturers (Biante & Apex Replicas) hands, they can only recommend to their partners overseas as best they can.

Hope this answers some of the questions. (Needless to say I've got all of these on order ;) )

From a Biante staff member about the Nissan GT-R 12 hour winner:

I spoke to Autoart a couple of weeks ago and they said they were making the decorated sample right now and that following Nissan approval, we should get some images very soon. If all moves ahead without any more hiccups then production will be Q2 2017.

Good looking model - but I am going to resist starting a 1/18th collection and stick to my 1/43rd ...

Picked mine up this afternoon:

Looks better than the real thing. ;) Pretty good detail all round.
Here's the best shot I was able to get of either car during the 2015 weekend (taken during qualifying):
