Yeah, although I'm starting to slow down lately. Got just about everything I was looking for, as far as LM24 models go, just picking up the newer ones as they come out, now. Started out with the intention of sticking to a particular couple of themes, and as with most diecast collectors, ended up going off in all directions. Ended up with shelves of Aussie touring cars, B12H, Steve McQueen, F1, Jo Siffert, Can-am and motoGP, plus of course my pride and joy, 917 Porsche's and LM24 collections.

Just picked up the Brock/Miedecke VN Group A today to add to my reasonable Brock collection.
Have a few of the icon cars like the Johnson XC & XD, Bartlett Camaro, Geoghegan HO, Moffat 69 Mustang and the Beechey Monaro and Jane Camaro who were both signed by the legends.
Have the Phoenix 12hr Audi's, Salmon Audi and the winning Erebus 12hr winning Merc. Was glad that Schneider and Jaeger came out this year and got them to sign it. (Some will cringe at the thought of having a model signed, but i like it)
Just waiting for the call that the 12hr winning Maranello Ferrari is in, but think that it will be closer to the end of the year.
Have been too scared to start a full on Sportscar collection as I'd be throwing $$$ around everywhere.
My collection is all 1'18's.
The Brock VN was $250 and the the Maranello Ferrari will be at least $300 which is getting ridiculous.

I opted to collect 1/43 scale - more cars per metre of shelf, and easier on the wallet. Also less impact and less detail, but them's the breaks. Started of with a Nissan/Datsun theme, then added B12 cars, and have now started Gulf livery, Le Mans 24hr and Aston Martin themes. Every now and then I see a "non-theme" piece I have to have, such as Jum's Sidchrome Mustang and the JPS Group A BMW 635. Pride of the collection is the BBR brand Clearwater 458 from 2012 - 1 of 20 made, cost $200. Later managed to get Mok's, Bairdo's and Matt's signatures on the case. This year's B12 winning Tekno 650S has been pre-ordered, hopefully released before year's end.

Pics below show my semi loaded for Bathurst (the Erebus SLS in Maro Engel's Macau livery is an imposter - have only seen the B12 livery in 1/18th), and off to the Nissan Datsun Nationals (Wakefield, next Easter :cheer: )

Spark models are doing this years winner. I have one Spark model (Daniel Ricciardo's HRT) and it is really nicely done.

I have quite a collection of models going back to when I was just a kid but have stopped collecting these days as I don't have the shelf space to display them. I used to mainly collect the cars of Aussie F1 drivers. I now "collect" larger models of the RC plane kind...

The Clearwater Ferrari is absolutely stunning. I have one too:

I was able to get all 3 drivers signatures too at the 2015 event. (Mok Weng Sun is great guy-he gave me and my dad team shirts too when he signed it)
Question for RedZedMikey: did yours have a red base? Reason I ask is mine is 80/100, so I'm assuming you got the rarer vision?

No eBay APP ID défined in Kunena configurationJames, yes, I have the red base one, no 7 of 20.. At the time I bought it the price was cheaper than the c/f base version - lucky, I guess.
If anybody else wants one same as James ... there is one on ebay, search BBR Ferrari Bathurst. Couldn't get the link to work.

Nice! B)
I'd love to see Looksmart or BBR do the 2015 Bathurst car (with the Australian flag on the front-right wheel arch) in 1/18.
Probably wishful thinking but its nice to dream...

My pre-ordered Bathurst 12 hour winning Maranello Ferrari in 1'18 which was due in the first quarter of this year may be lucky to be available by the end of the year :(
The regular collectors will know that this isn't an unusual occurrence unfortunately.

I know what you mean by delays - I've been waiting for the retro livery Caruso Altima from 2014 Bathurst 1000 for months and months! It should only be a decal set, come on guys!!!

Hahaha these things are bloody addictive. Mainly collect Le Mans in 1/18th and now have all GT3 Bathurst 12hr winners that have been released so far.
Pride and joy is still the exoto Sauber Mercedes C9 with the spare rolling chassis.

James3592 coming from a massive Lowndes fan i have never felt so much envy in my life.

Sadly funds and space do not currently allow me to own every Lowndes car but is my mancave dream.

Might need that AF Corse 458 he piloted to 3rd in Pro-am at Spa ;)
