Dean Canto to join Jim Manolios in the Huracan for Clipsal.

Statistically most "rock spiders" have spent some time in their lives as a church youth group leader.
Think about that.

That's interesting. STM expanding so with Twigg leaving SRM, who will partner Richo?

Alas not. I must admit I don't even know what happened to the Corvette.

From the conversations I've had with Jim, I believe the problem with the car was that Callaway was such a small company that it simply couldn't carry the inventory of spares to service customers like some of the other manufacturers can.

As a result when something when wrong it took longer to acquire the parts to have it fixed, turning what would normally be a small or trivial issue into something that could rule him out of race weekends simply because he couldn't get a supply of parts.

Hopefully with these guys getting involved more with the GTRs they can introduce a lot of new fans to the sport.

Actually mate I think two of the three Trofeo Vette's went to NZ.

Trofeo had a GT3 Z06R which ended up being a bit of a hybrid. 2013 aero/gear change but 7.0L engine capacity.

Then a couple of former RAM racing GT4 spec Z06's were acquire for ride days and one sold to NZ. Not sure of location of the other.

Mate look up 2013 QR round. Greg Murphy drove and it was more than competitive. Considering it was a 2011 model also.

Keep your eye out as between now and Clipsal we'll have announcements almost every day. There's a huge amount happening behind the scenes at the moment, and some exciting things to come out. It's actually a bit of a problem; so much news, so few days to go!

The early entry list is pretty mega!

Unfortunately we won't be seeing the Vicious Rumour Ferrari 488 this year in the Australian GT series.

That's a real shame. Not likely many others would be shelling out the required cash for one either

True that as I'm hearing that you won't get much change out of 1 mill.
