Now that is the sort of news that you want to hear whilst suffering from 12 hour withdrawels.
I've got a good feeling that we'll have the 3 manufacturers back that were missing this year. Both Audi and Mercedes will have their GT4 cars available and Mark Griffiths has ordered at least 6 of the Merc's and the new Bentley will be here.
Book your accommodation and time off now as this will be the best one yet.

That is good news. The car looks the goods, hopefully (with the new Bentley) will take the fight up to the Germans.

Had the Competition Motorsport guys at my hotel and always good for a chat. They're a definite starter for 2019.

When does camping generally sell out? Or even local BnB's/Best Westerns?

You can imagine Aston Martin will go all out for the event as they will be trying to sell the new car to customers, part of the reason their massive GT3 pro effort this year too.

Id be expecting names like Turner, Thiim, Sorensen, Martin, Adam and the most exciting name, Alex Lynn!!!

Based on past reports:

- Paddock and McPhillamy camping sold out by December. Reid & Sulman soon after.

- If you leave it late for a hotel you might find yourself driving from Oberon each day. I would be wanting to lock that in ASAP.

Pubs will take bookings now I think, many people have a standing booking year in year out though. I would have killed for a room at the Rydges at about 11am on Sunday....

From what I've experienced and heard you'd need to book a motel by about
March/April to be certain of getting a room and many have the minimum 4 night stay rule and pump up the prices for the event.
I have a rolling booking at my hotel as does the entire McElrea outfit including drivers and a number of smaller teams also stay which doesn't leave a lot of room for the fans. With other teams having rolling bookings at other motels, less rooms are becoming available.
If you are 100% sure that your going then it's best to book as soon as the dates become available.

After staying where I have for 5 years now I have a standing agreement to rebook every year unless I say otherwise. So, I'm already booked in for 2019

I have a rolling booking as well for the 12H, he might have some more rooms available if you get in now. They do up the price a little for the race weekend, but it's decent and reasonable.

I don't believe that there has been anything announced as yet.

They already have the Lexus in GT3, why not just go with what's already done?
If a GT3 Supra is going to be a real thing, then I guess they have a few months to arrange homologation if they want to be on the grid come February. And either option would hopefully stir Nissan into action.

Perhaps somebody hit the send button 24 days early on an April 1st press release, lol.

No way Toyota is going to run the Supra alongside the Lexus in GT3.

The Supra as shown in Geneva looks more like a GTE car to me due to the size of the rear diffuser, which would also make sense as a replacement for the LMP1 program.
