Audi have received a small but welcome restrictor plate bonus for the event.

Baigent M4 GT4 entry has been withdrawn, so we're down to 52 entries.

Hopefully they can all get through tomorrow.

Car action a bit missing today. With less track time due to corporate rides from what i can see and safety cars.

The "lunched" Lago Lambo engine had only done 1,000km, so Scud Lago is less than impressed. The acquired engine has done about 5,000km, so there is some concern with its life expectancy.

Might be just me, but I find CAMS/organisers are a bit over the top for safety cars. I could spot the spin in the Group S race into the gravel trap down at the Chase from Skyline, and it seemed an eternity to clear it up- not the first time I've seen them take so much time for something that should be so simple to pull out (or so I would have thought). While I am all for safety, I felt it's almost being "too safe", if that makes sense. Just takes away from the competitors' track time and the fans a bit much.

It would be interesting to see the sector times for session 4. Mainly the audis to see if they are still much slower down conrod. If they are they may struggle again in the race. They certainly still have single lap pace

The Camp RBT sweep has been drawn, I’ve picked out:
#3 Audi (Ash Samadi)
#8 Merc (Twigg)
#11 McLaren (Walls, Luff etc)
#12 Porsche (Calvert-Jones)
#43 BMW (Schnitzel)

With $10 on offer for pole position, and $50 for the outright winner, I’m feeling pretty confident with my chances.

More so than the poor bloke that pulled 3 Class B Porsche entries and a class C BMW :P

The local stream doesn't seem to work. It did for most of the combined sedans.

I thought the NismoTV was supposed to be geoblocked but it is working at the moment and a bit better than the stream on the website. Probably just geoblocked for the shootout and race.

Keep an eye out for this when the camera pans down into the Chase.

Pretty sure I just spotted it during the Radical race.

Daytona did 299.7 down Conrod this morning.
Lago Lambo ran out of fuel on track causing a red flag, subsequently costing them their best lap time and starting 20th instead of 14th.

There has been a change. No BMW Team SRM car in the shootout and the #55 Strakka AMG moves up.

Key words: Technical, and infringement.

Was standing down at Parc Ferme as 3 cars including the Richards BMW were ready to leave after having scrutineering done and whilst the other 2 cars were told they were good to go, the scrutineers were very vocal in ensuring the Richards BMW returned for another look.
